1. Do you have payment plans?

Yes, House of Tutors offers payment plans for the 16 week program.  $2080 is due two weeks before class begins and $1760 is due by the end of week 6. 


2. Is House of Tutors - Intensive American English Institute, accredited?
Yes, House of Tutors is fully accredited by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training. ACCET is a non-profit organization recognized by the US Department of Education, “as a ‘reliable authority’ as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions we accredit.” (from www.accet.org)

3. What should I do about textbooks?
At the beginning of each semester, House of Tutors will publish a list of required textbooks for each class. After students have been placed in the appropriate classes, they can buy textbooks at the University Co-Op (a few blocks from House of Tutors) or find them online at Amazon.com or half.com. Please note that textbooks are not included in the tuition.

4. Do you provide one-on-one tutoring?
YES! We offer one-on-one tutoring, which is perfect for students who want to focus on a specific subject or area. See Program Options for more information about our individual tutoring services.

5. If I am unable to pay for my own tuition, can someone else (a family member or friend) support me?
Yes. If someone else agrees to support a student during his/her time in the US, he/she will need to write a Sponsor Letter and provide a recent bank statement showing a balance of at least US $6000 (plus $2000 for each dependent child or spouse, if applicable). House of Tutors will need the Sponsor Letter and bank statement to issue students an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility. However, the student must also take those documents to the embassy or consulate when applying for a visa.
