One of the most distinguishing aspects of the Intensive American English Institute at House of Tutors is our commitment to involve students in extracurricular activities and to build relationships in the community. House of Tutors does not limit English instruction to the classroom. Rather, we strive to provide opportunities for our students to take their language-learning outside of the classroom and use it to experience life in Austin. House of Tutors makes sure that our students’ learning does not end when their classes end.

A wide range of weekly and monthly activities allow students to interact with native English speakers and practice their English in more informal environments. From weekly field trips to monthly potlucks to seasonal holiday parties, our students leave Austin with memorable experiences during their time at House of Tutors.

Adjusting to life in a new country is not easy. Everyone at House of Tutors wants to help students make their transition into American life and culture as easy and smooth as possible. House of Tutors can assist students with their arrival, housing, transportation, and anything else they might need.

We are open from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM on most days including weekends.
