1.Is there housing near House of Tutors?
YES. There is plenty of housing near House of Tutors. We are located only a few blocks away from the University of Texas campus, so there is plenty of student housing in apartments, dorms, and co-ops. University Towers and The Castilian are two student dormitories that are very close to House of Tutors. For more information, see our Housing page.

2.Can a student with an F-1 visa get a social security card?
No. The current law says that F-1 language students are not allowed to obtain a Social Security card.

3.Do you take field trips or cultural outings?
Yes. Our field trips and extracurricular activities are one of the things that make House of Tutors special. We have weekly, monthly, and seasonal events, including outings every Thursday to local places of interest. We also take 1-2 full-day field trips each semester.

4.Am I required to have health insurance?
No. House of Tutors does not require students to have health insurance, but we do highly recommend it.
