How To Maintain F-1 Status

F-1 Maintenance Policy

To ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, F-1 Students must comply with the following:

  1. USCIS regulations (see Page 2 of I-20)
  2. Fulfill Attendance requirements (See Attendance Policy)

Failure to maintain valid F-1 status will result in Termination of the Student’s F-1 record. In certain cases, the School will assist Students with Reinstatement to F-1 status. Reinstatement is not guaranteed. A Reinstatement Deposit is due at the time of 

Reinstatement I-20 issuance. See Tuition & Fees Schedule in the ESL Policy Book, available from ESL Administration.
