The Intensive American English Institute can help you find your new place to live. We can direct you to apartment locators, local dormitories and co-ops, as well as home-stay options (limited space). Students should make housing arrangements before arriving in Austin.

HOUSING INFORMATION
Many housing options are near the Intensive American English Institute. Below is a list of several dormitory housing options which many IAEI students use. IAEI does not specifically control or endorse any of these residences. Students should make arrangements for housing directly with the dormitory housing director

Prices vary according to the room size, the meal plan, the payment plan, and single or double occupancy. A deposit will be required by most residences. Prices may change from semester to semester. Please write or call directly to the dormitories listed below for current rate and availability information.

COOPERATIVES
Co-ops are non-profit organizations that are managed and maintained by students. Each resident is required to attend meetings to make important decisions about finances, social activities, educational workshops, and maintenance problems. The student is also required to perform specific duties, i.e. cleaning, organizing, cooking, etc. on a weekly basis. Costs includes meals and utilities.
